Summer Food Program

With summer right around the corner, it’s time to think about keeping children eating healthy while school is out. Each year, the United States Department of Agriculture partners with local organizations to provide free meals to children when school is out for the summer.

This summer, Rawlins County USD 105 will again be providing free meals to children during the summer.  Meals will be served at the Rawlins County Elementary School beginning Monday, May 24 through Friday, July 2 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Monday – Friday.  There will be no meals serve on Monday, May 31st for Memorial Day.

There are no income requirements or registration.  Any child under age 18 may come to eat.  In lieu of an afternoon snack served at the Kelley Park, a snack will be packaged and sent home with each child that comes to lunch.
