The O’Brate Foundation Traditional College Scholarship Due May 1, 2024

The O’Brate Foundation Traditional College Scholarship Application for the 2024-2025 academic year is NOW OPEN at https://obrate.smapply.org/The deadline for completing the application is May 1, 2024. IMPORTANT

  • Any student or adult who had previously signed up for an application account with us (i.e. dual-credit app, previous applicant for any program, served as a recommender/collaborator for any program) will still use the SAME USERNAME & PASSWORD Credentials to access SM APPY.
  • In addition, the Dual-Credit Application is now open for this Spring 2023 Semester-Deadline is April 1stPlease note the deadline changeSubmissions received EARLIEST in the semester will receive priority consideration.

 

AWARDS

The scholarship awards are based on financial need and will vary in size from $500 to $5,000 annually. This year we will be awarding approximately 35 to 40 Renewable scholarships, so we would appreciate your help by encouraging only students who meet the financial qualifications to apply for this need-based scholarship. The following are tips to help your students determine if they fall within our definition of financial need.

 

*If annual income exceeds the listed amount for that family size, then the student does not have financial need, unless there are extenuating family or financial circumstances. There is space available in the Application for students to share detailed information regarding an extenuating circumstance.
